Isaiah 41:13
For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.
Don’t you feel much comfort knowing that God will always be there to help you when you need his help? What a blessing it is that I can pray to him any time and any where with the assurance that He listens to my prayers. Sometimes, he doesn’t answer in the way that I am hoping for, but he always answers my prayers in the way that will be in my best interest and bring Him glory.
If you have lived in certain locations and with certain people for too long, you almost lose your value as a person because you are dehumanized and devalued. That’s exactly how the devil wants you to feel; He wants you to feel that you don’t matter much to anyone and especially to God.
John 10:3 says “…He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” What a great privilege that God would call you by name. He knows exactly what you are going through and where you are hurting. He sees you and cares for you.
You are not just a face amidst the crowd or a number. No, He knows and calls you by name and has a personal love for you. And in spite of the mess which you might be in, He wants to meet your every need and make your life beautiful!
Psalm 27:10 – Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.
